Led by the Department for Trade, Tourism and Investment, the initiative offers grants up to A$80,000, particularly to the following priority sectors:
- Food, wine and agribusiness
- International education
- Tourism
- Energy and minerals
- Defence and space industries
- The hi-tech sector
- Health and medical industries
- Creative industries
Adelaide is becoming a fast-growing destination for global companies, with several large conglomerates establishing bases in the state capital, presenting numerous opportunities for both start-ups and established businesses.
Eligibility criteria
To meet the requirements, your company will need to:
- Have been operating for a minimum of 12 months in your home market or interstate
- Incorporate a company in South Australia (i.e. paying GST in Australia) for international companies
- Commit to working full-time in South Australia for a minimum 12 months and to grow your business in the state
- Create employment in South Australia.
- Up to $40,000 to access the Landing Pad innovation and co-working hubs.
- Up to $40,000 to access professional support and advice.
- Case management to help navigate, network and participate in the local ecosystem.
- Applications are by invitation-only and registrations will be assessed on a merit-based process.
