PLMJ – Law Firm has been named "Best Law Firm of the Year in Litigation" for 2017 by leading US directory Best Lawyers 2017, which is recognising firms by different practice areas for the first time this year. The fact that 12 PLMJ lawyers were named "Best Lawyers" in litigation contributed to the recognition of the practice area as a whole.
PLMJ Litigation is one of the largest teams of lawyers working in this area in Portugal. It currently has around 40 lawyers.
The past year has been an outstanding one for PLMJ Litigation, a year in which it created a dedicated banking and finance litigation team. This team, led by partner Rita Samoreno Gomes, specialises in supporting banks and financial institutions in major litigation cases.
