Kirsten is a Partner at Camilleri Preziosi and practises primarily in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and domestic and international tax advisory and restructuring, with a particular focus on the legal and tax implications of local and cross-border transactions. She regularly advises on commercial transactions, including share and asset purchases, joint ventures, and shareholders’ agreements.

Kirsten also assists clients with corporate governance matters and provides ongoing corporate support and compliance advice, and is actively involved in the establishment and administration of Maltese trusts, foundations, and voluntary organisations.

Michael joined Camilleri Preziosi in 2017 shortly after completing his LL.M. Banking Law and Financial Regulation in the UK. He is a Senior Associate in the Financial Services team and advises on a broad range of corporate and finance transactions, including loan agreements and corporate finance matters involving both equity and debt structures. He also advises on regulatory issues in the funds and investment management sectors, working closely with the firm’s Financial Regulatory and Compliance team.

Michael has been involved in a number of M&A transactions, advising on both corporate and financing aspects, and has assisted the Malta Development Bank and Bank of Valletta plc in the implementation of SME and Family Business Guarantee Schemes.

Christian is the Managing Director, Partner of GUILDAM Asset Management.

Christian co-founded RMC Wise Ltd in 2020, playing a key role in its establishment and growth. The company provides Risk Management, AML, and Compliance support services.

Previously, he advanced from Portfolio Manager to Managing Director at a leading Maltese asset management firm. He also worked as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at a local bank and an M&A Analyst at the Malta Competition Authority. Currently, he serves as a Risk Manager, Portfolio Manager, Director, and Investment Committee Member for various Schemes and Management Companies.

Christian graduated with an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Malta in 2009. Christian then furthered his studies in 2012 and was awarded an MSc in Economics and finance from the University of York. Later in 2014, Christian passed the CFA Level III and acquired the CFA Charterholder. Christian has also read for his PhD with a specialisation in Finance from the University of York. More recently in 2021, Christian diversified his studies and obtained his International Diploma in Anti Money Laundering with the International Compliance Association.

Stephen Gauci Baluci is the Managing Director of CC Fund Services and brings over fifteen years of experience in the funds industry. His expertise spans fund structuring, fund accounting and valuation, transfer agency, AML, regulatory reporting, and corporate services. He has held senior positions at a leading local bank and a Big Four audit firm, including overseas leadership roles in hedge fund audit engagements in New York and the Channel Islands.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the University of Malta, is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor, a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants, and currently serves as Chairman of the MASA Fund Administrators Sub-Committee.
