The city of Kiev administration has come up with a conceptual framework of land privatisation in the capital of Ukraine. The blueprint spells out the mechanisms for land allocation and conveyance for lease and ownership as provided by the Ukrainian Land Code and the presidential decree on privatisation of non-agricultural land. Land in Kiev may be sold to Ukrainian nationals and legal entities. Foreign companies can obtain the use of land plots under long-term lease agreements.
