Jones Day announces the Jones Day International Legal Fellowship for the 2026 academic year. This marks the 25thconsecutive year that Jones Day will award scholarships to students to encourage the study of law in China.
The 2026 fellowship awards will be given to law students from universities in China, and each winner will receive RMB 35,000. The fellowships are provided to support students in the advancement of their education and experience in the legal area of their choice.
The Jones Day International Legal Fellowship arose from the Firm's dedication to legal development in China. Since 2001, Jones Day has awarded a total of 271 Fellowships and more than RMB 5 million in scholarships to law students in China.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants should complete theJones Day International Legal Fellowship Application Form2026online, available through this link. Completed applications should be submitted no later than April 23, 2026. Details of application requirements can be found at the "Frequently Asked Questions" link.
The competition is open to all graduate students studying law at universities in China. It is also open to undergraduate students in their third year or above studying law at universities in China. Previous Jones Day International Legal Fellowship winners are not eligible for consideration.
