German trainee lawyer joins Swaab for a three-month placement in what is understood to be an Australian-first initiative of its kind.

Earlier this year we welcomed trainee lawyer Charlotte Schnitzenbaumer from Munich-based law firm GvW Graf von Westphalen for a three‑month international placement. The initiative underscores our commitment to global collaboration, talent development and the practical value of its long‑standing membership in the Meritas global alliance of independent law firms. Charlotte, who is completing her formal legal training in Germany, joined to gain hands‑on experience in a common‑law jurisdiction and increase the connection between the two firms.
