Andréa Cabanac has joined ENS as an Executive in our Natural Resources and Environment Practice.

Andréa brings extensive experience in the mining sector, having worked closely with major mining houses across the full lifecycle of mining projects. Her practice spans mineral regulation, policy and mining title work, administrative mining law, as well as advising on complex mining transactions, mine development and operations.

A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, where she completed her studies cum laude, Andréa is currently pursuing an LLM in Mineral Law at the University of Dundee. She is fluent in English, Afrikaans and French, further strengthening our ability to support clients operating across Francophone jurisdictions.

"Andréa's appointment reinforces our continued investment in our mining law capabilities and our commitment to providing integrated, market‑leading legal support to natural resources clients across Africa," says Ntsiki Adonisi, Head of Natural Resources and Environment.
