Big Brothers Big Sisters Moose Jaw

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Moose Jaw supports children and youth through its In-School Mentoring Program (ISM), which matches students with trained adult mentors from diverse backgrounds. Delivered within local schools, the program builds stable, one-to-one relationships that support social development, emotional regulation, and school engagement for young people facing adversity. By fostering a sense of belonging and strengthening connections between students, families and schools, the program contributes to healthier individuals and stronger communities. Grant funds will be used to support the continued delivery of the ISM Program for children and youth in Moose Jaw.

Creative Options Regina

Creative Options Regina (COR) delivers inclusive, community-based programming through its Inclusion Regina and COR Studio initiatives, supporting individuals in developing skills, confidence, and independence. The organization provides opportunities for participants to build social connections and engage more fully in their communities through programs focused on personal growth and learning. Funding will support the expansion of Indigenous cultural and educational workshops, creating meaningful opportunities for cultural learning, creative expression, and connection. Grant funds will be used to support these workshops, benefiting participants, families, and the broader community.

Learning Disabilities Association of Saskatchewan

The Learning Disabilities Association of Saskatchewan (LDAS) supports individuals with learning disabilities by providing programming that promotes inclusion, accessibility, and skill development. Grant funds will be used to support the delivery of the Dyslexia Untied program for teens in Saskatoon. This program offers a group experience for teenagers with dyslexia, creating a safe and supportive space for participants to share experiences and build self-awareness. Guided by a facilitator, the program helps youth develop strategies for reading, learning, and personal growth while reducing feelings of isolation.

Moose Jaw Family Services Inc.

Moose Jaw Family Services Inc. supports families and individuals experiencing food insecurity through its Emergency Food Hamper program. This initiative provides essential food support while also incorporating an educational component that equips recipients with practical cooking skills. Each hamper includes ingredients paired with recipes to encourage the preparation of nutritious meals and support long-term independence. Delivered throughout the year as needs arise, the program focuses on supporting vulnerable families, including young parents. Grant funds will be used to support the provision of emergency food hampers and accompanying life skills resources.

Sagesse Domestic Violence Prevention Society

Sagesse Domestic Violence Prevention Society works to prevent domestic violence through education and community engagement initiatives. The REAL Talk program equips participants with practical tools to recognize and respond to signs of abuse, while encouraging empathy and informed conversations. Through accessible sessions delivered across Saskatchewan, including online formats, the program strengthens informal support networks and increases community capacity to respond to harm. By reducing stigma and promoting early intervention, the program contributes to safer communities. Grant funds will be used to support the delivery of REAL Talk training sessions across the province.

YWCA Regina

YWCA Regina supports youth mental health through its Healix program, a school-based initiative designed to provide accessible support within local high schools. The program creates safe spaces where students can connect with peers, build coping skills, and access guidance from trained facilitators, volunteers, and Indigenous Elders. By integrating mental health education and culturally responsive practices, Healix promotes resilience, reduces stigma, and strengthens student wellbeing. Grant funds will be used to support the continued delivery of the Healix program for youth in Regina.

YWCA Saskatoon

YWCA Saskatoon supports women and children through its crisis shelter, which provides a safe environment during times of significant transition. The organization is enhancing its children’s play space to create a stable, developmentally supportive environment where young residents can learn, play, and heal. The updated space will include durable furnishings, hygienic toys and books, and resources for caregivers, ensuring it can meet the needs of children experiencing stress while remaining safe and easy to maintain. Grant funds will be used to support improvements to the children’s play area within the Saskatoon shelter.
