We are very happy to announce that on November 16, 2023, The U.S. Department of State officially extended the E-visa duration for French nationals from 25 months to 48 months. E-visa duration was previously 60 months, but was cut down to 25 months during the Trump presidency. Following a visit to the United States by President Macron, relevant authorities in both countries worked hard to bring this new visa duration to fruition. Note that in addition to the 48-month duration there is a small reciprocity fee attached to the E-visa ($58 USD).
The E-visa is a critical tool forFrench-owned companies (by either individual French nationals or as publicly traded stocks) as well asFrench entrepreneurs to enter the United States and develop or expand their business.
